While writing an article on Search Engine Optimizaton for Entrepreneurs Anchor magazine, I ran across this Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide by Google. 

I had never seen this before, but it does echo the things we do optimize our clients' sites. The article doesn't give up any breaking news of all of the SEO changes Google has employed recently, but does give you the basics.
